Our solar-powered home is Just like brand new! The entire interior, and exterior, of our 2853 square foot home was remodeled in 2014. After the remodel Walter Strauss Roofing replaced the old tile roof with a new Monier Lifetile roof in early 2015. At the same time Solar City installed a solar system into that new tile roof for a beautiful custom look! Mike Thing Well Drilling then drilled us a water well which currently produces 13 gallons of beautiful water per minute! Even so we installed a 10,000 gallon above-ground holding tank just in case of an emergency. We have water. Lots of water! Both city and well supplied. But back to the house! The lower floors of our home are covered by travertine, with decorative laminate insets. Pets will not hurt those floors. The updated kitchen includes new cabinetry, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. Each of the three baths have glass walk-in showers by Pacifica Glass. Every opening in the house was sealed with new thermal pane windows and doors. Remote control ceiling fans are located throughout the house. And a spacious two car finished garage finishes the house off! Now some of the special features that make this house a home! The billiard room features a cathedral open beamed ceiling, which was insulated with 2" of foam by Walter Strauss Roofing before the new tile roof went on. And there is a used brick fireplace to keep the room, and the players, toasty warm! Weiser Pools updated the swimming pool to a salt water pool in 2014 by replacing all of the pool equipment manufactured by Pentair and Sta-Rite. That serious investment was then protected by the addition of a new pool house. The pool includes a heated spa, and is surrounded by a large deck. We added a large heavy-beamed wooden arbor over the spacious concrete patio to protect the sitting area, and the back of the house, from the generous California sun. Custom stone above ground planters are now being installed so we can grow our own herbs and vegetables! Citrus trees, mature Live Oaks, and Pine trees bless our property of 1.01 acres of privacy. More trees will be planted as we have almost a half acre of flat cultivable land below the house! Oh yes, during 2014 and 2015 we remodeled the large utility shed down on the flat just to house all the tools and maintenance items we use to keep our property beautiful. You will see that we believe in a well-maintained property when you visit!
