The Shady Rest, a charming 1936-built cottage sits in a sweet, safe neighborhood two short blocks from the Walnut Grove Public boat dock and just a mile from the boat launch at the historic town of Locke. Hiking, fishing, kayaking just blocks away! Our cottage sits beneath a huge, beautiful oak tree. It's sparsely furnished, has newly refinished hardwood floors, is clean, comfortable, with quality linens on all three beds (queen, full, and twin), a washer/drier and antique bath fixtures including an iron clawfoot tub/shower.
