Looking for a roommate April 2025 for the basement/shared living space. Someone who is either a working professional or in grad school. A person who is friendly, responsible and loves dogs. I have a 65lb dog. Looking for ONE person to rent.
Shown is a photo of the basement floor furnished. However, it is currently unfurnished with rugs that cover over 80% of flooring.
Basement floor comes with its own bathroom and ample closet space at 800 sq ft. Recently painted, new tile and shower upgrade! House is secure featuring ADT security system for inside the house and cameras on the outside.
Shared first floor space includes a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a full guest bathroom, all electric laundry machines and concrete backyard. Tenant splits utilities 50/50 to include: ADT, Pepco, Washington Gas, DC Water and internet (Verizon).
Nearby transportation includes the 52 (L\'Enfant Plaza/14th&Colorado), 54 (Metro Center/Takoma) and 59 (Federal Triangle/Takoma). Capital Bikeshare one block away. Giant, Target, Lidl, Marshalls, Burlington, Best Buy and Columbia Heights Civic Plaza only half a mile away. FRESH FARM Farmer\'s Market every Saturday from 9AM to 1PM. Closest metro station is Columbia Heights (green/yellow line).
Roommate expected to keep the basement and shared area clean at all times. Snow removal shared responsibility of all tenants in the house. Pets allowed. No smoking of any kind. No nails on the walls.
Applicants must have a 700 or above credit score. Application can be done on Zillow to include credit, background check and reference check.
Fees due before move in: First month's rent, security deposit and $300 non-refundable pet fee. Year long lease preferred. Break lease fee is equal to a month's rent.
