The Gressitt House is a delightful gem with exciting possibilities for old home lovers. Located in the historic district of Urbanna, VA, which originally revolved around tobacco trade, the home is prominently perched above Virginia Street, beside the Old Tobacco Warehouse. The original 2-over-2 dwelling, with 9-over-9 windows and basement, is believed to have been built in the 1740s (this date is not definitive).The 2-story addition was added in the 1880s and retains many original details.
