There is a "neighborhood park" with two adjacent fields: one w/swing set, etc and one with a baseball diamond which is used by Little League and also by neighborhood boys for "pick up" games. Ask a neighbor for the secret walk-in entrance between two houses down Schrade Rd and for directions to drive around to the official entrance from another street. People in this neighborhood usually buy-in during their 30's, raise their children here (the schools are excellent), often trade up for more house in town and just as often stay until their children are in college. You can become very friendly with your neighbors or you can be very private - in either case, everybody watches out for everybody else. We feel safe here. The street is very beautiful in the spring when all the trees are in bloom. All properties are beautifully maintained - some more manicured than others. Lots of people (like me )walk for exercise in the neighborhood - there are no sidewalks but traffic is neglible. Club Fit, a super full-service exercise club w/tennis courts and two pools is within a 5-minute drive of Schrade Road - I have belonged for years. I thinkk that every conceivable exercise activity is offered. This neighborhood is an amenity in itself. I have enjoyed it for nearly 30 years.
