    What's special

The owner started developing this little park in 1997, after retiring from IBM. To clean up the land, get required permits and install pedestals with electricity and water hookups took some doing. The Park opened in 2000. Additional sites were added as the Park grew, reaching its maximum potential of 15 sites in 2008, with a net income of $6,086. The Park reached its highest net income of $37,163 in 2009 and closed in 2012 due to poor economy and high gas prices. It was reopened in April 2016 and finished the year with a net income of $6,303 in 8 months of operation. From 1/1/17 thru 4/30/17, the Park's net income was $3,370. The Park is in excellent condition, with no repairs needed and the grounds are well maintained. The counties second largest employer, Potash Corp. of Aurora, PCS, is only 15 minutes from the Park and has been home to many contractors over the years. The Park is located in the Inner Banks of Eastern North Carolina in a very small, quiet, safe, rural fishing village where nature abounds. By boat, the Park is only two minutes from the mouth of the Pamlico River & the Intercoastal Waterway and five minutes from the Pamlico Sound. There is much to see and do within a 45 minute drive. Several free ferry crossings provide absolutely gorgeous water scenery. And, the beach is only 90 minutes away. A small town, only 10 minutes away, has services that meet most of the residents’ needs, including an EMS station, medical center, gas stations, bank and post office, Dollar General, Family Dollar and two restaurants. A full service Walmart and Food Lion are only 25 minutes away. The Park needs fresh insight and energy. The owner is 74 years old and ready to retire again to enjoy travelling and a little relaxation. The Park would make an excellent second income for someone who loves working outside and wants to live in the country, enjoying peace and quiet and nature. The area is a haven for hunters, fishermen and boaters. Come see for yourself -- the little village is very friendly and welcoming.
