Available now for $1,995/month is a nice approx. 750 sq. ft. 2-bed/2-bath 2nd floor apartment of a well-maintained family-managed/owned 11-unit building in an active outskirts Koreatown business/residential neighborhood near the intersection of Normandie Ave. & Beverly Blvd., and minutes away from the bustling businesses of Downtown L.A., Hollywood, East Hollywood, Silver Lake, and Echo Park as well as a short drive to the Mid-City and Westside areas. Relax in a spacious living room with new laminate flooring. Eat your meals in the quaint dining area next to a remodeled natural light-friendly kitchen (new cabinets, granite countertops, faucet/sink, ceramic tile flooring). Each bedroom includes new ceiling light fans, new laminate flooring, fresh curtains for the open closets, window (master bedroom), and sliding balcony door (guestroom). There is a full common bathroom (each bathroom has low-flow showerheads and toilets in addition to new ceramic tile flooring), a wall heater, and is cable-ready. The apartment also includes a freezer/refrigerator combo and oven/stove combo. Onsite, the unit includes 2-car tandem covered parking, and a shared laundry room with 1 dryer and 1 washer (both coin-operated). Owner pays for cold water and trash, while tenants pay for electric, gas, and sewer. There is plenty of free street parking should you have friends over. Lastly, small pets (less than 25 lbs.) are allowed (additional deposit required) and smoking in outside designated areas only. The location is a casual walk to many local restaurants, bus stops, the Wilshire/Normandie Metro Station, and relative ease to the 101 freeway and access to major thoroughfares such as Beverly Blvd., Western Ave., and 3rd St. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. The average length of time each current resident has been living at this property is 7 years; therefore, we are not interested in short-term rentals, so please don't bother asking if that is your intention. Application Process (Background/Character/Credit Checks Are Mandatory - No Exceptions) - If still interested after a live personal tour, I require all interested adults separately complete a rental application form and co-signer application form if applicable (I work paperless as much as possible and will email both forms if you provide/confirm your email address), provide me front/back copies of your driver's license (valid state ID or passport will also suffice) and social security card, respectively, copies of up to four of your most recent paystubs (explain if you're unable to provide this), and a $35 non-refundable fee per adult for the purpose of running the background/character/credit checks (this can easily be sent electronically via Paypal or Venmo - details provided upon request). Once I receive all of that and the results of the background/character/credit checks are to my liking, I require a final casual in-person meeting to get a better idea and read of you. If I'm comfortable with you at that point, then we can proceed with renting the apartment.
