Rural single family area. Many neighbors still live in the house where they were children, 50 years ago, and farm their Daddy's tobacco fields! We used to have peacocks and chickens, but the eggs and feathers were not worth the "farm" work and the raccoons and hawks that stopped by for free meals. During winter, site is basically hilltop view for 500 yards, but the tree leaves of Spring close it in until you can only see one neighbor easily. I also own the house next door, which has been my multiyear fixer-upper project. Neighborhood is generally very quiet, but you are on a paved road for easy access during the winter. Standing on the back porch, it is impossible to avoid humming the musical theme to "Green Acres"
