These Local land Owners have developed constructive relationships with both Governmental Organizations such as US Fish and Wildlife, the Federal Bureau of Land Management, and the USDA, as well as private organizations such as Trout Unlimited and the Nature Conservancy. The Nature Conservancy purchased 32,480 acres from Plum Creek Timber to contribute to the Blackfoot Community watershed project. The majority of this land will be resold to the Federal Bureau of Land Management and adjoining land owners.
