Shares the main bathroom with the 3rd bedroom. Bedroom (110 sq ft). Full size bed works best for this room; closet, dresser. Details about the home: The house is a large duplex with a half bath on the main floor along with a front porch and screened in back porch. Back room extension and adjacent half bath recently refinished with new windows. High efficiency central A/C system and a combi-boiler for radiators and hot water. Almost all kitchen appliances were installed or replaced in the last 2.5 years. There is a parking space behind the house, and lots of street parking. There is also a large, two-door garage that could be used for a car. The washer/dryer are in the garage as well along with exercise equipment (standing bike, bench, weights, and large exercise mat), and two on-wall bike mounts. About the neighborhood: House is less than a mile from Catholic University and the CUA-Brookland Metro, walking distance to bus lines, close to the Metro Branch bike trail, and walking distance to Yes! Market and other 12th Street businesses. WiFI and electricity included (the house has solar panels), as well as FrontPoint security system with a doorbell camera.
