    This unique one bedroom apartment is located on the second floor in an historic, converted school building with a total of 14 units. The apartment has a large L-shaped living room and kitchen with all appliances, including stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and a built-in microwave. The bedroom is large as well, and has a full wall of closets. There is an on-site, very reasonably priced laundromat for tenants' convenience. Off-street parking is provided in our secure, video monitored parking lot. Our community is quiet and safe, plus very conveniently located. There are wide stairwells and hallways, easy for moving furniture in. The halls are made of a beautiful hardwood. Cats are allowed (limit 2) for an additional pet fee of $40/month/cat. By the way, there is a beautiful public kayak and boat launch nearby, but we are NOT in the flood plain. Many tenants are long-term because they love it here! We are not owned by a large, impersonal company, but the building is family owned and managed. We care about our residents and maintain the apartments well. The rent is $1,100/month, and water, sewer, and trash removal are included. Tenant pays electricity. A lease, security deposit, and renter's insurance are required. Fee for credit and background check is $40, payable only if you decide to take the apartment. Owner pays for water, trash and sewer. Electric bills, paid by the tenant, run approximately $100/month on average. One parking space in our lot adjacent to the building is included in the rent. The lease is for 13 months, April 1, 2025 - April 30, 2026.
