This unique two bedroom apartment is located on the lower level, partially below grade in an historic, converted school building with a total of 14 units. It will have brand new, upgraded carpet, and is being freshly painted. It will be new and sparkling clean! (Because this unit is currently being renovated, the photos are of other units in the building with the same floor plan.) The apartment has a large L-shaped living room and kitchen with all appliances, including stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. There is an on-site, very reasonably priced laundromat for tenants' convenience. Off-street parking is provided in our secure, video monitored parking lot. One parking spot is included, and a second spot is available for an additional fee. Our community is quiet and safe, plus very conveniently located near interstates. You can zip over the river to downtown Harrisburg, or take an interstate to Carlisle, York, Hershey, and beyond. The rent is $995/month, and water, sewer, and trash removal are included in the rent. The apartment is all electric and tenants pay the electrical bill, which runs on average about $120/month. A one year lease, security deposit of $995, and renter's insurance are required. A completed application is required prior to scheduling an appointment to see the apartment. The credit check fee prior to signing the lease is $40/tenant, payable in cash after you have viewed the apartment and covers credit and background check. A minimum 650 credit score is needed plus demonstrated ability to pay the rent. NO SMOKING is allowed. There are wide stairwells and hallways, easy for moving furniture in. There is a beautiful public kayak and boat launch nearby, but we are NOT in the flood plain. Many tenants are long-term because they love it here! We are not owned by a large, impersonal company, but the building is family owned and managed. We care about our residents and maintain the apartments well.
