This bright, cheerful house is amazing, with a huge yard, lots of light, great layout for families and has been almost completely renovated. Terra Linda is an awesome family-friendly neighborhood, with parks, great schools and quick access to everything in both Portland, Beaverton and Hillsboro. This is by far one of the nicest houses in the Terra Linda neighborhood. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, vaulted ceilings, an awesome kitchen with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and a sweet, private backyard. Terra Linda is an older neighborhood, which means the yards are larger and your neighbors are not two feet from your house. The trees, planted in the 1960's, are big and provide beauty and shade. The streets are wide. And, even better, Terra Linda was designed to have no passthrough roads. So drivers are not cutting through the neighborhood to avoid traffic. Terra Linda is also super close, but not too close, to the freeway. It is 2 minutes to highway 26. If you live a little further north in Bethany, it can easily be 10+ minutes to the freeway. Terra Linda is a hidden gem of a neighborhood that is nestled between Cedar Hills, Cedar Mill, and Oak Hills. From a commute standpoint, this is a perfect location for a family who has someone who works downtown and someone who works westside, like Intel or Nike or Columbia. You are very close to Barnes Rd/Burnside, where you can get downtown quickly and avoid highway 26 traffic. Or you can get downtown by taking Cornell road (which turns into Lovejoy downtown), which is about a minute away from your house. While the house has a Portland address, it is technically closer to Beaverton than to Portland. Hillsboro (Tanasbourne) is also about 5 minutes away. The living room has vaulted ceilings with skylights (incredibly rare in Terra Linda), and the kitchen is completely remodeled. There is hardwood flooring throughout, and an awesome deck that overlooks a private backyard. The garage fits two cars, and is a "bonus" size garage that also has room for lots of storage. The schools for this house are awesome. Terra Linda Elementary and Sunset High School are just a couple blocks down the street. Cedar Park Middle School is a school bus ride away. I attended both Cedar and Sunset and enjoyed them both. Grocery shopping is nearby too. Safeway is a minute away, Market of Choice is about 4 minutes away, and New Seasons and Whole Foods are 7-10 minutes away. Lots of great restaurants are nearby too. There aren't many rentals in Terra Linda, and lots of families live here.
