This home was built and occupied by a contractor who built many houses in the neighborhood. It is very solidly built and in excellent condition. The layout is fairly open with the U Kitchen opening into the dining room and connecting to a spacious living room. Many folks on Mountain Ave have built up or back on very similar homes, but we are torn between the desire for space and the desire to have a reasonable sized, sustainable home. We have weatherized including new windows and have made several upgrades to the inside and outside including refinished wood floors, painted inside and outside, improved the landscaping to name a few.
