This is an *unfurnished apartment*. The furnishings in the photos are ours and we will be moving everything out before August 9th.
The apartment has floor to ceiling windows, a wide open living room and kitchen with all the amenities of 5 burner gas stove, washer and dryer in the unit, stainless steel appliances, heating & a/c, and elevator access. It has a spacious walk in closet and good sized bathroom with a large tub. The building amenities feature a nice gym, and a 16th floor rooftop deck/bbq area that has fantastic views of the river and downtown Portland. The apartment is the NW corner unit in the mid-rise building. They are a pet friendly building, offer free work out classes onsite, and have several building events. Definitely check out their website to get a better idea of the building and all it has to offer!
The tenant will need to be approved by the landlord/leasing office. You would sign the current lease and take over the rent for the last of our lease term (Dec 9). We will not require a security deposit from you, and the apartment will be available starting on Aug 9. We will be available to show the apartment before then, feel free to email any additional questions.
We have a year lease that goes through Dec. 9 but will be out traveling and our looking to sublet starting Aug. 9.
You will be added to the lease agreement and will need to be approved (with a financial check) from the building management at Block 17 Apartments.
Tenant responsible for utilities, the building will add the trash and building fees (about $24/month) to the monthly bill.
