Land is a corner about .46 acre, in a nice quite neighborhood. It has three pecan trees, one sycamore, three crepe myrtle , two lemon trees, one producing pomegranate, small grape vine that needs some tending and some other young fruit trees. Lot has a deep well the pump was replaced in the last month. Home has a deep well. It also have two out building on. One block and one wooden. We are about a three to five minute walk to a nice park if you have kids. And about 3 minutes drive away from highway 80 and about 6 minutes away from highway 16. Home was built in 1911. It has two bedrooms, one bath, one dinning room, and a sitting room/that can be made into a bedroom. Making the home into a three bedroom home. At this time that is how we have the home set up. Besides for the bathroom and kitchen. All of the floors have the original hard wood floors (under the many layers of paint!) The bath room being slate, and the kitchen being wood as well, just a little newer. It also has four working fireplaces with inserts and lovely old style wooden mantles. Twenty-four windows let a lot of natural light into the home. Some windows of note of the bathroom above the tub, the front sitting room/bedroom and the front door. They have small little diamond pane windows set. Two sets of original sliding/pocket doors mark off the sitting room/bedroom. Home is heated by the wooden fireplaces and cooled by the large 2300 btu window units in place. The kitchen is so very large and a joy to be in, very nice real wood cabinets. Ceilings are 12 feet, giving every room and nice open feel, the 2100 sq feet don't hurt that either. The roof is only about four years old. Attic is unfinished. The bathroom has slate flooring and a claw foot tub. It has a built in shelf at the entrance to the bath room. There is also a built in book shelf in the hallway. The hallway has a lovely arch in it that adds flare to the old home. Please note that the home is very old, and needs a lot of work we are not able to do to it. Most of the walls needs to be painted/patched/papered as you like. We have already stripped down the walls so they are ready to be finished just how you like them. Also the doors need to be replaced. We did buy all of the door and they are just waiting in the house to be put up.
