Exterior Features:Home was original the land sales off for the Mountain Estates development. There has been two additions to the original A frame. This home sits on 1.43 acres, and has three out buildings, a wood storage shed, a covered snack bar area and outdoor rest rooms. I understand that when they started the development, that the developers would invite prospected buyers up to camp out, and that is the reason for the snack bar and outdoor restrooms (his & her). The home is in bad need of a roof. It has been leaking on the east side addition and there is mold on the walls and ceiling in the bedroom on that side. The west side addition was the most recent add on, and it has forced air heating on that side only, but it would not take much to expand it to the rest of the home, there is ample crawl space to work in under the home. There is a fairly new hot water heater in the crawl space. There is also the pump for the well under the house, the well is located behind the property about 30 feet away. I have no way of telling if the well and pump is in working condition or not.Interior Features:The interior of the home is in need of repair. The kitchen area is still intact, but rather small. There are two full baths each with a tub/shower in them and a third bath with just a shower. One of the full baths is a jack and jill located between two of the bedrooms, the other two baths are private baths for the bedrooms they are attached to. The larger bedroom could also be used for a large living room. One bedroom has considerable mold on the ceiling and wall. In the family room there was a wood stove that has been removed, the wall behind it is nicely tiled, but the base will need to be re-tiled. Any carpet that was in the home has been removed earlier and the floors are mostly plywood with the exception of three rooms that have laminate flooring in them. There are a few areas of the plywood that are soft, but could be repaired by cutting just that section out and replacing it. Most of the floors are fine. In the A-Frame section there are two sleeping lofts with steep stairs to access them. Overall I think the home is built solid, and just needs to be refurbished.
