    What's special

Hello! My name is Arman and I hope you might be the next caretakers of my house. I've spent the last four years renovating the place but am moving in with my partner and hoping to find tenants who will love this home as much as I have. The house is an end unit (9 more windows than an interior unit) with three bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, full sized kitchen and pantry, bright and open living & dining rooms, covered porch, massive basement with workbench and a backyard with raised garden beds. The guts of the house contain new wiring, plumbing, boiler (with smart thermostat) and windows. Stainless steel appliances and front loading washer/dryer units too. I worked to save the original charm of the home so it features all original hardwood floors, doors, trim and even some kitchen and bathroom fixtures (this also means I didn't install central AC but I have 6 window units in the basement ready to be deployed). I've never had to walk more than a block or two to find street parking. If you're not already familiar with the neighborhood it's the best balance of village charm and city living. Just to the west is Druid Hill Park and Union Collective (brewery, distillery, winery, climbing gym etc). A couple blocks to the east are a Royal Farms gas station, Giant grocery store, dry cleaners, Walgreens and auto-mechanic shops. The Avenue of Hampden is a 10 minute walk to the south and has just about everything one could want for entertainment and shopping. Given the current Omicron wave I'd be happy to give tours via Facetime/Video chat and then masked in-person tours if folks are really interested. The house is currently being painted so I don't have the best pictures to offer...those posted were taken over the years by my sister and me. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I'm offering the home with a one year lease and one-month-rent security deposit. Over the years utilities (internet, gas/electric and water) at the house have averaged about $250/month. I'm open to y'all bringing pets into the home if you don't mind a small pet fee. No smoking indoors please. In addition to being available as the house needs fixes and repairs I also plan to help maintain the outdoor spaces and keep the front garden tidy.
