The neighborhood has improved a lot in the last ten years. It is a great family neighborhood. friendly neighbors from all over the globe. It is within a five minute bike ride to coliseium bart. Oakland as baseball raider nation and golden state warriors. Shops and fast food within walking distance. Grazellis grocery store. and corner grocery store within walking distance. and a public library nearby on 81st with public school etc. street parking on 77th and 78th is usually not a problem. I have gated parking for up to 3 vehicles. and long 35 feet r.v. parking in back. hardwood laminate floors. and plantation shutters enhance the craftsman bungalow features inside. nice fireplace and mantel in living room. Homey feel. big back yard with shed. and two car garage converted to studio space or mancave. Minor repairs need to be made. and rooms can still be rented to responsible students at nearby aviation academy on g.i. bill etc. back yard has greenhouse. great for a gardener. etc. yard needs some clean up etc. You wont find a craftsman bungalow in the bay area at this price anywhere. 20 minutes to san Francisco via bart. can commute by bike and bart , be in san Francisco in half an hour. Downtown. Great weather. alameda Oakland estuary 15 minutes away. easy access to the bay for the boater. New vinyl windows but left the original windows in front. also original door. 1915. built very strong solar panels on roof. no leaks.
