There are no rooms dedicated to storing clothing (no "walk-in closets"), but plenty of space for wardrobes and dressers! Open kitchen design with a five burner gas stove, spacious lofts for additional storage or a tree-house style sleeping space in each bedroom, a personal sink in each bedroom, plenty of windows for enjoying glorious sunrises/sunsets and surrounding nature. No wall-to-wall carpeting, just cleanable floors in the entire house. Stacked washer and dryer. No dishwasher (we are on rainwater and water conservation is a thing). No microwave (because real cooking is better for you and the environment).
Access to a huge basketball court, off-street parking and private parking, fire-pit, picnic table. There is plenty of natural space around the Hill House. Fully fenced in, gated property. The Hill House is on rainwater and solar electricity. Laundry agents, cleaning agents and toilet paper must be compliant with specifications outlined in the lease. Our property is a sanctuary to many wild life species and domestic animals, including a flock of free-roaming, free-grazing chickens. The gray water (water from laundry, sinks and shower) from the Hill House drains into the soil that nourishes many trees, including five fruit trees. We facilitate and support a toxin-free natural environment and products containing harsh chemicals and dyes are not permitted for use. Our tenant will have a year supply on non-toxic washer cleaning tablets, a starter pack of non-toxic laundry detergent, a few rolls of pretty awesome toilet paper by Who Gives A Crap (because we definitely do!) to get you started, and a tiny herb garden by the front door for your culinary needs.
