This is a small but charming 1-bedroom apartment located directly above a restaurant at the corner of Iowa Avenue and Dubuque streets. The building has a lot of history and character. The pine floors date to around 1900, and the high ceilings and skylight make it feel very open considering the small square footage. There is a coin-operated stacked laundry unit onsite, so you need only walk around to the other secured building entry to access that. Tenant is responsible for electric heat/air conditioning, and cable/internet costs. We cover the cost of garbage and water/sewer utilities. The utilities are heat and cooling for central heat and A/C. We installed a new vinyl roof in 2011, new A/C compressors the year after and have replaced all of the windows in this apartment. We manage a handful of apartments and treat tenants with respect, and try to care for our building as though we lived in it (because we have.)
