Hi! My fiance and I are looking for a renter for a large basement unit in our home in Northglenn, CO. The unit is completely separate from the rest of the house (with a locking door) and has direct access to the outside. The total finished square footage of the unit is 750 sq. ft. and there is a very large unfinished utility room which houses the washer and drier (approx. 200-300 sq. ft.). There are two bedrooms, each with their own closet. One of the bedrooms could also serve as an office if only one bedroom is needed. There is a newly renovated bathroom with a beautifully tiled shower. The carpet throughout the unit is brand new and the entire unit was repainted in the last few months. The apartment is 20 minutes from downtown Denver, the mountains, and 30 minutes from Boulder, CO. You'll be minutes from the grocery store, the community greenway trail, and less than a mile from the light rail. The renter will have their own parking spot and access to our deck and backyard. We will have to coordinate in advance for usage of the deck when the renter has visitors over. We are looking for a renter (or renters) that doesn't smoke, has no pets, and preferably does not have small children. We are asking $1,200 for rent. Things to note: There is a kitchenette, but not a full kitchen. The kitchenette includes the following: a large toaster oven, hot plates, microwave, and a large mini fridge. There is no dishwasher, but the unit has a large utility sink to wash dishes. The washer and drier are both brand-new and will be shared with the homeowners. We will work out a laundry schedule that works for everyone. Utilities will be split based on the ratio of the finished square footage of the house (homeowners pay 60%, renter(s) pays 40%).
