The success of RPM's work in Phase 1 Square galvanized stakeholders to address the decline of another neighborhood rental complex, Fairview Courts, in Phase 2. Built in the 1930's, this once-attractive complex of 30 townhouse style apartments facing a garden courtyard was in severe disrepair and half unoccupied when RPM began renovations in 2005. The renovations were staged in order not to have to relocate existing tenants off-site, and the refurbished town home units are now mostly occupied by the original tenants. An additional 10 units of new construction was completed the same year, adding to residential options on Fairview's commercial corridor, Collings Road.
