Home is a one-story, rambler-type home, but due to poor soil compaction, the builder had to excavate down to solid rock. So, he finished three stories beneath the first basement level. This made room for a full-sized racquetball court, trampoline room, wet sauna (cedar tiers, like in the movies), ping-pong room, theatre room, full studio apartment, and so on. From the street the house appears to be a normal 3,000 square foot or so home. But, it's really around 9,200 square feet!
