The house is tastefully decorated with great furniture, lots of colorful paintings - most of which were done by my mother who was a talented artist and the rest has been collected along the way with lots of folk art - heavy emphasis on my African and Mexican travels. When the weather is nice, you can use the large back patio and roof deck as well. There is a BBQ in the back too. The house is one block from Lincoln Park, 5 Blocks from Eastern Market, just under a mile from the US Capitol, and also easy walking distance to Barracks Row and H Street NE corridor. It is an awesome neighborhood. Getting around: The nearest The closest metro stop is Eastern Market, which is a half mile away on foot. You can rent bikes through Capitol Bike Share just a block away at Lincoln Park. There are two large grocery stores within easy walking distance and many small boutique shops in addition to Eastern Market. Length is negotiable. Utilities not included. One months rent deposit.
