Employment, Income, or Assets: Tenants must show evidence of sufficient income or assets to cover rent. Single residents should earn 2.5 3 times the rent, while combined income for multiple occupants should be 3.5 4 times the rent. Exceptions may be made with a higher security deposit or a cosigner. Credit: Applicants must authorize access to credit reports and show a history of good credit. Reasons for Denial: False or misleading information on the application. Eviction or unlawful detainer judgment. Community debts.
