There are 3 skylights and every room has large windows, bringing in light. The house has an open feel with private bedroom spaces. The living room has a very effective fireplace insert, adding to the cozy feel of the place. Laminate flooring throughout. There's even a basement, adding tons of available storage, and a wine cellar that naturally keeps perfect temperature with 2 decades of data to support this statement. The bedrooms are huge. The master has 2 closets, the other two bedrooms have a closet and a large cupboard with shelves. The master has its own bathroom. The back bedroom has a door to the deck. House sits on a couple of acres with fruit trees and garden beds awaiting planting. Lots of green surrounds the home. From every window you look out on green. There's also a huge deck. The heater is efficient and the duct work was cleaned a year ago. However, the fire place does a great job heating much of the house. The house is on propane. The propane serves the heater, the water heater and the stove. The house is on septic, and appropriate use of the septic system is required. Water comes from a community well that serves 7 properties. The water is the most delicious water I've tasted. This is the downstairs unit of a 2 unit house. The upstairs is a separate apartment where the on-site manager lives. She is earnest, considerate and quiet and has been in the house long term. The deck, yard and garden are shared space. The garage is not included with this unit. There is plenty of parking on site. There is also a ton of storage on the property. The 1/4 size basement provides lots of storage, There is also a huge closet under the stairs, and shed space can be available with a little effort. There is a full laundry room, that renters can use with their own washer and dryer. Wifi will not be high speed as top city options. This is rural Prunedale/Elkhorn area. Cable has not yet reached this area. Lots of Satelite TV services are available. Fiber optic wifi is not available. All neighbors have found wifi options that work and a booster will improve speed. Pets are accepted with pet deposit. Area is 6 minutes to Moss Landing, Castroville or Prunedale. 15 minutes to Watsonville, Salinas or Marina. 25 minutes to Monterey, Santa Cruz or Gilroy. If interested, please complete an application and call. First, deposit and application fee (pd to Zillow). Requesting 1 year lease to start. If pets, there will be a pet deposit. Owner pays for water and garbage, sewage is septic. As there are two units in the house, the electric is on one bill. However, we have installed meters to measure watts used by each unit, and the units pay their portion of the bill. The solar&propane water heaters only serve the downstairs unit. the propane heater only serves the downstairs unit. All propane usage is only downstairs...this serves the heater, gas stove and 2nd water heater. If seriously interested, please call or email. A Zillow application is required. The upstairs tenant serves as on-site manager. Both the on-site manager and the owner need to interview any prospective tenants.
