It’s official folks. Our house is for sale. 2.15 acres. Convenient location less than 1/2 mile outside Hattiesburg city limits., Features a concrete driveway, suitable for lots of family and friends visiting, and a 2 car garage with automatic garage door to close if you don’t want those friends coming in, a large front porch with swings on both ends so when you come home from a long day at work or you’re mad at the spouse, they can still sit outside and swing too, and you don’t have to hear them breathe. The large covered RV parking space, (or during times you don’t have an RV or camper, your Fred Sanford wanna-be husbands can fix cars and pile up car parts from time to time) is a nice addition. My favorite part of the home was the back porch with entry to swimming pool yard, morning coffee and talks with the Lord and dogs were nice year round (not suitable for temps under 40°), but if keeping up with a swimming pool isn’t your cup of tea, I’ll drain the water, back my dump truck up and fill her up full of dirt. Located in Dixie/FCAHS district, and the school bus always ran about 30 seconds before I could get my kids up. Dixie school is a 9 minute drive, and FCAHS is a 23 minute drive. Those teenagers said they could make it in 21 so I must have been doing something wrong, There is a lot of space in the home, rooms large enough, if your kids are screaming at each other, you don’t have to hear it, but at least they will never fuss about their rooms being too small… 2nd bathroom features a double sink, so when your children ARE late for school, there’s room enough for 2 kids to brush their teeth at the same time providing they can stand being in the same room with each other. The generous, sturdy closet space is a plus so your little ones won’t be able to tear them up easily, (we did remove the doors while the youngest one was smaller, they can be quite a fuss for smaller kids.) There is lots of cabinet space, perfect for hiding your many Amazon orders from your spouse, or if you just like shopping at Sam’s. The fireplace comes with insert but can be removed for a more open fire if you like that kind of thing. Another favorite of mine was the Laundry room/Storage room, let me tell you, there is so much space, I folded my laundry there most days, space enough for a small deep freezer.. and shelves for days. Roof was replaced in 2021, all the kitchen appliances stay in the house, (fridge, microwave, dishwasher) and for those who always wanted a Rainbow vacuum cleaner, well, this house has his very own. Comes with all the attachments shampooer, mop, etc. .. also a complete Nightowl Security system, there is room for more cameras to be added and can be seen from your mobile device.
