For the outdoorsy types and nature lovers, we are situated 15 minutes walk (5-7 minutes jog) from Rock Creek Park, a gem in our nation's capital and one of DC's best outdoor attractions. Excellent restaurants, cafes, and entertainment abound in the neighboring Columbia Heights, Petworth (Upshur Street), U Street Corridor, and Mt. Pleasant areas of the city, which are close enough to be easily accessible, but far enough away for you to comfortably enjoy the serenity of our peaceful neighborhood we are always happy to provide you with additional recommendations, should you want them. The unit is sufficiently spacious for one adult or a couple. Single occupant: $100 for utilities expenses (water, electricity, high speed wifi) Two occupants: $150 for utilities expenses (water, electricity, high speed wifi) $29 application fee is paid by renter to Zillow for online application Residents upstairs and surrounding neighbors are mostly families with young children and elderly residents, many of whom are very sensitive to smoke. Smoking of any kind inside the unit, on the premises, or in the public spaces around the home is absolutely prohibited. Recreational drug use is also prohibited for the same reasons. Sorry, no pets allowed. There are outdoor security cameras on the premises. The unit is a single-family unit. Please Note: this is the lower-level of a home belonging to my family of five including young children. While we have done our best to soundproof the home (including sound insulation in-between the unit and the upper floor), you may hear the noises of our active, energetic, children in the daytime hours (particularly given COVID-19 school closures).
