Small house for rent in Kern Place. Very near Madeline Park. Close to UTEP and Downtown. Extremely nice & quiet neighborhood. New refrigerator. Large screened front porch, large backyard. Resident responsible for watering the tree, plants and small patch of grass and giving trick-or-treaters candy! Evaporative Cooler and central air Heat. Renters pay own utilities. Has a basement and detached garage for storage. Garage would only fit a small car as driveway access is very narrow. They allowed a small dog and a cat when I moved in, so assuming that's still OK. I paid $1200 on my lease ending next Feb, Not positive what the Property management company will charge, but I put $1400. May only be $1300. They haven't raised it much in last five years. I'm the current tenant, the property management company says that someone can finish out current lease for $1200 through next March, then month to month or new 12 month lease. I don't feel comfortable with that responsibility, so I changed the rent amount to $1400 even though I don't know what Capitol Properties might charge, could be $1300, I don't know.
