There is a bike path 1/4 mile from the house that goes directly to the Bosque/Rio Grande River (5.5 miles), University of New Mexico (5 miles) and the Balloon Fiesta Park (2.5 miles). It is close to shopping, restaurants and the I-25 Freeway. Sams Club, Costco, Century Park 24, theater are all less than 10 minutes away as well as the Rail Runner train station to Santa Fe. Every two weeks in the beginning of October, you'll be right in the thick of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, the balloons sail pass the house and land right in two of the parks about a 1/4 mile from the house.
