We are leasing our basement located in North Bethesda / Rockville to ONE tenant only (please do NOT contact if there is more than one tenant). The space has the following features: - Independent side door entrance (walk-out level) - A relatively large living room - A private full bath - Independent kitchen space (with portable electric stoves, microwave, a fridge, cabinets, and a sink) - Two bedrooms (one large one small, both with closet space) - Dryer and washer access in the basement (shared use) - Backyard is for shared use The base rent of $1,200 includes only internet. Utilities are paid separately and are apportioned by headcounts. Utilities typically cost between $50 and $90 a month on average per person depending on your energy use behavior. There are ample street parking spaces. Our house is located near Randolph Road, Route 355, and is close to the following: - NIH (4.5 miles) - Twinbrook and White Flint metro stations (6-minute drive to either) - Buses that take you right to the metro (bus stops are right outside the door) - Supermarkets (Giant, Safeway, Great Wall Supermarket) - Park environment (walking distance) The neighborhood is quiet and safe for strolling at night. We are looking for one person (max ONE tenant) who is a non-smoker, relatively clean and organized, prefers quiet environments, and easygoing. Please note that pets are typically not allowed. The space will become available around late April. The basement is typically not furnished, but if you are committed to mid- to long-term rental (6+ months) and turn out to be a good fit, we can add certain amenities (e.g., table, chair, etc.) at your request. Please note that the $1,200 monthly rate applies only to 6+ months of rental.
