I did a lot of custom and one-of-a-kind features to this home over the years that I know someone will really appreciate. R13 insulation in attic. There are 4 Japanese maples that were a gift to me from a farmer up in Vinemont that was a customer of mine (I will miss those!) I just had the storm door put in a few months ago and it is a Lawson. Really, everything I did to the house, I tried to use or buy the best. The windows/French door retail would be in the neighborhood of about $8,000. Neighborhood Information I am unsure as to how many homes are in my neighborhood but I do know that we are one of the smaller ones. We do have young families and retired people here. As I mentioned, it is very quiet. It is designed like a racetrack, oblong, with only one entrance/exit and so we do not have a lot of traffic. My house is right near the entrance and I really don't hear hardly any noise at all.... other than a siren going by on 411. The neighbors have all been very friendly from day one and I have been here for 7 years. A lot of people like to walk the circle around for exercise. School Information I know the high school is just up the street.... and also the city building is even closer at he crossroads with all the information you will need. I do not have any children, but I will be happy to get any numbers for you. Also, the young couple across the street from me have a couple children that are involved in all kinds of activities. From what I understand people really like the Moody schools.... they are building the new civic center up the street and Moody is really on the upswing. There are some really good Churches here too. I also have never had a problem here either. I know the police department is good... I usually see the police around a lot and they are very friendly here... as a matter of fact, the gentleman that cuts my lawn started a very successful lawn care business and he used to be a Moody policeman! Finishing Touches All appliances are staying with exception of washer/dryer as of now. I do have an excellent home warranty and was planning on making sure it was paid through the current year plan (we can discuss this further). I do want the new owner to have peace of mind. All window coverings are staying as well. I would possibly consider a buyers agent if we could agree on terms depending on final selling price.
