It used to be on the very edge of Austin but now it's a block away from Airport Blvd, bus lines, right down the street from Walnut Creek bike path, across from a large peaceful cemetery, and a short bicycle ride or commute down E. 12th to downtown. Large live oak trees provide shade and a corner of the large fenced in backyard overlooks east Austin. With window units and gas heat, it is comfortable all year round. The large back bedroom has French doors that open on to back deck. Primary bedroom with walk through closet to en suite bath. 3rd and smaller bedroom great for private work from home space. Each room has a large closet and there is a hall/coat closet. The house's vintage charm is brought out in the details, built in bookcases, rounded archways and 12' ceiling in living area. This isn't an investor home, it used to be my house. I live close by and I love the property. If you are interested please tell me a little what you are looking for and who you are.
