This home used to be a single family, folk Victorian. We plan on returning the house to that state for our growing family. In the works are a new roof, new windows, a new driveway and landscaping the front hill. Neighborhood Description There is a big difference between upper and middle Brown st., we are closer to Springside Ave which is more quiet. The people around us are friendly and quiet. We have children and the yard is secluded and safe. They are old enough now and I feel safe allowing them to play with the neighborhood children, who have been very well mannered. This is a dog friendly area, and many people bring their dogs to Springside park for a hike. The trails are slightly graded and just right for walking or mountain biking leisurely. The area is perfectly situated between the area attractions with two well kept roads for winter driving to choose from (Springside or Tyler). There are neighborhood stores and resteraunts, like the Pizza House, Hot Harrys, Zenners, etc. We enjoy walking down to grab an ice cream at the Dairy Cone on Tyler St.
