Currently looking to fill an extra room, possibly 2 if the right fit. We re both young professionals and have lived in this same house for the past 5 years. Private landlord who we have good rapport with. The house is a few minutes away from both i70 and US 6, providing quick access to both Denver and the mountains.
It is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house. There is a large drive parking area that leads to a 3-car detached garage behind the house. The back yard is fenced in with a gate that can be closed on the driveway to allow dogs to run around. There is also a shed and 500 sq. ft. garden area.
Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are occupied, and 1 bath. There is also a large dining room as well as the old single car attached garage that is converted into a second living room.
Downstairs is fully finished and has a large living room area, laundry room with storage and an extra refrigerator, and 4th bedroom which is a bit smaller than the upstairs rooms but also has a private full bath attached.
We are not in a big rush to fill the room but are more importantly looking for a good fit. We are looking for 1 to 2 roommates who are interested in a peaceful space to come home to and live out of. Keeping the space clean, good communication and respecting each other is most important to us. There is space for furniture and such that you may have, but the house is also fully furnished with two living rooms set up at the moment. Kitchen is also well equipped with an extra refrigerator we bought for extra space with extra roommates. We are into the outdoors and mountain sports. The garage space is set up for everything from routine oil and brake pad changes to working on bicycles, dirt bikes and vintage cars and motorcycles. We are fairly flexible and have a lot of similar and divergent interests between the two of us. It's a great household to be able to do your own thing but also have a partner-in-crime for other hobbies.
Open to talking about possible short term sublet. Looking to fill one room, open to filling both rooms if it is a goof fit this would drop rent to sub-$1,000 each. Landlord requires first month, last month and deposit. Available Sept. 1st.
We have a cat and he does well with dogs but would require proper introduction to another cat. Pet damage deposit of $300 possibly required.
