This affordable location is just 10 minutes from Knoxville Airport, and twenty minutes to the most visited national park, the Great Smoky Mountains. But, if your visit is for work or business, you are just a few miles to the Hospital, Maryville College and many of the new businesses that have located here. From your rental, you can walk to historic downtown Maryville, restaurants, pubs, and shops. Maryville College campus is practically your next-door neighbor. You are close to the parks connected by walking and biking trails transversing water streams that surround the twin cities of Maryville and Aloa. But if it is to visit the mountains, do not miss Cades Cove, which is about a 20-minute drive, to see and hear about how life was before and during the 1800s. You will see the cabins, churches and the mill plus other historic homes and outbuildings of early settlers. Wildlife like bears, deer, and wild turkeys will often be seen as you drive around the Cove. Maryville is surrounded by mountains and there so much to see; going south and east are well-traveled roads and scenic stops to view the valleys and lakes below. But if natural beauty is not enough, you are 45 minutes or an hour to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and yes, DOLLYWOOD. Now, you will be glad you are saving your money at a wonderful place to sleep, This unit is around 1600 sq ft with tall ceilings, window seats, beautiful wood floors, internet, dishwasher, washer and dryer, two bathrooms and is beautifully furnished, just bring your suitcases.
