A new storm water drainage system was professionally installed in the backyard in 2021 that includes 330 linear feet of 8" pipe, an 18" x 18" concrete catch basin, 5 French drains and two downspouts that all connect to an outlet that drains to the curb on Lakeview Road. The house is located less than a block from Tuscora Park and Quaker Stadium. The neighborhood is among the most desired areas to live in New Philadelphia. The home is located in the New Philadelphia City School District. Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School is also within walking distance. New Philadelphia was recently listed as the second safest city in the state of Ohio. Landscaping has been updated with dwarf Alberta spruce and small plantings. All large trees have been removed from the front of the house. All pine trees have been removed from the wooded area in the back of the house opening the view to Hilltop Road. All remaining trees in the wooded area are hard woods. There is one large tree in the side yard from which my favorite swing hangs. If a buyer asks nicely, I will leave the swing. It is great place to unwind and view the fountains on the lagoon. The garage offers space for two vehicles plus an additional alcove for mowers, bicycles and tools. A new metal garage door was installed in 2021. The garage has hot and cold water spigots and a gas heater. Access to attic storage is located in the garage.
