Welcome to your charming, newly refreshed attached 2-bedroom Ohana. A cozy retreat at the front of our family property. Each room is furnished with luxurious bedding, ensuring comfort throughout your stay. The large deck and gas fireplace is perfect for unwinding with a tea or Mai Tai as the evening settles in. Our relaxed family, including four joyful kids, two friendly dogs (a golden retriever and a German shorthair pointer), and a large, affectionate orange cat who might stop by to say hello, lives in the main house. Rest assured, your Ohana has its own private entrance, laundry, and outdoor space, with no shared areas. A little about our town: Makawao is a laid-back paniolo town nestled on Maui's cool upcountry slopes. Rooted in ranching and plantation history, it offers a slower pace of life with stunning Haleakal views, vibrant sunsets, rainbows, and eucalyptus-scented air. Roosters and chicks roam freely, adding charm to the century-old buildings housing boutiques, cafes, galleries, a famous bakery, and lei shops. Just 15 minutes from the beach, Makawao is a perfect blend of history, beauty, and tropical relaxation. Our home is ideally located in Makawao, surrounded by a variety of amazing food spots, making it a true food lover's paradise. Just a 30-second walk away, Freshies serves up unbeatable scrambles and the best loco moco. For a lively happy hour, head over to Polli's Mexican Restaurant, where you can enjoy their three dip trio, fresh-made chips, and $6 margaritas. If you're a fan of homemade pasta, Casanova's is a must-try, offering some of the best pasta you'll ever have. For a quick bite, the local food carts deliver delicious options: Pakamon Thai for the best curry, Road Dogs for loaded hot dogs, and Satori for fresh poke and sushi bowls.
