Lake Melissa is 1850 acres of crystal clear waters with great fishing - specializing in walleye, northern, and panfish - and is perfect for both motorized watercraft (boats & jet skis) as well as non-motorized (paddleboards, kayaks & paddle boats). We are on a beach road yet just off of a county road making for a quiet area that is still quite easily accessible. While the area and lake are exciting and fun, the lake house property and neighbors are quiet and peaceful. It's the best of both worlds! The lake home is located in the vibrant Detroit Lakes area; which features boutique shopping and upscale or casual dining & bars. Like the outdoors? Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge , both Itasca & Maplewood State Parks and Dunton Locks County Park are within a short drive.
