    What's special

Beautifully restored farm house with quarter sawn oak trim everywhere, done by a local master carpenter. Large wood cook stove in kitchen, which can heat the whole house. The kitchen and downstairs full bathroom have granite countertops. The bathroom was recently remodeled with quarter sawn oak in Mission style, featuring dovetails on the outside of the drawers and a glass door on the cabinet. The house has been fully insulated and all the plaster and lathe has been restored, which makes the house very quiet and solid feeling. Small library/office with restored birch french doors with leaded glass just off the dining room. The built in book case is made of quarter sawn oak in Mission style. Closet door in dining room has leaded glass door. Stairway beautifully restored with carpet runner, Tuscan sun Venetian plaster. Stairway window is encased in wood with a curve on top with a half circle window made of leaded glass. There is a large Swarovski crystal chandelier hanging in stairway too. All three bedrooms upstairs are completely restored. Upstairs bathroom is new. The 1937 hip roof barn has a new metal roof on it. There is a newer pole barn with 6 horse stalls. The two barns are attached to each other. There is a fence around the pasture for horses and cows. The back 4 acres were allowed to be grown up for deer hunting, it is well tended with clover for the deer. We also have a very large deck which has shade on one end which we sit under at our table. I am unable to fully edit information on this page. We bought the home in September of 2000 for $195k. We have spent well over 100k on restoration, new barn and cement driveway.
