Great, recently partially remodeled 2nd floor apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Living room is 14x16, Dining room is 14x12, Bedroom #1 is 12x12, Bedroom #2 / Home Office is 12x12. The bathroom is off of a long hallway towards the back so it provides plenty of privacy. I am working on installing laundry in the basement. It should be all set within a month or so of you moving in. You will have direct access to it from your rear stairwell and won't even need to leave the building. We can discuss details when you view the property. This is a quiet house in a quiet neighborhood. If you like to have people over all the time, your music / tv up really loud and are up all hours of the night making noise, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a place to relax after work or need a quiet place to work from in a home office this is it. The house is on Highland Street which leads to Marlborough hospital but we do not get a lot of traffic and the street is very quiet. The back yard is common use and completely fenced in for privacy. There is a fire pit, a movie screen attached to the back of the house for movie nights (need to provide your own projector) and we usually have a garden growing but didn't this year. So if you like to garden we can save you a spot next season. Tenants are allowed full use of the back yard. We love having a fire going and sitting back with a few drinks, having a bbq (one of the tenants is a professional chef and always has something great cooking when we have a larger get together). You can also request private time back there at night with just your floor if you would like. It's all very flexible. We are located right near a football / soccer field so if you like local sports, it is right around the corner. The Assabet River Rail Trail stars at the bottom of Highland Street and goes for 8.6 miles. It is absolutely beautiful to walk, jog, run or bike the 3 seasons. The do plow it for Winter so if you are brave you can even do all 4. Highland Street is walking distance to downtown and all there is to offer including many great restaurants, shops and brew pubs. We are also walking distance to the library. Marlborough is a small city with every kind of restaurant, shop, store and delivery service you could want. We are also only a few miles from the Solomon Pond mall. It has the convenience of a large city without the noise and traffic. Absolutely no smoking, chewing or vaping tobacco is allowed in or around the house. This is a very strict policy. We do allow the use of cannabis in the apartment and in the back yard. Having cat(s) is possible depending on how they are with rugs and scratching. I have owned this house for almost 20 years and love it. Looking for tenants who want to make it their home as well.
