It's just east of Gallaudet University. 15 -20 minutes from any major attractions by bike or Uber. It's near NOMA/GALLAUDET Redline stop, your stop if you are using the train. Here's the breakdown. Available July 1st, 2021, a large basement in a row house, private entrance, private full bath; two adjoining rooms. Large bedroom with hardwood floor, sunny windows. 2nd large room can be used as a bedroom or den: tile floor, mini kitchenette (toaster oven, mini electric cooktop, two mini-fridges). No use, possession or sale of illegal drugs or marijuana. Thanks! NEIGHBORHOOD 1.) Bodega (small grocery) on Florida and Montello towards West. Beer and cheap alcohol. Trustworthy. Friendly. 2.) Food. So many options. When leaving the apartment front, take a left and walk across Florida, past L, K, I and soon you are on H street. N Pizza is excellent and cheap. Copy Cat, next door to N Pizza has Asian street food and the coolest bar in DC. Copy Cat is open till 2 AM. You also have Ethiopian, Burmese, and at night and day (best coffee shop) Maketto. (Maketto is super cool, sunny, with a beautiful garden. I heard their happy hour was great.) Another option for food is to walk west on Florida to Union Market. Thai, BBQ, and Donuts are my favorite there. Past Union Market, you have St. Anslem, O-Ku Sushi, and keep walking towards Trader Joe's and you have the best Neapolitan pizza ever, STELLINA, and The Latin Market. 3.) Bars: RED BEAR BREWERY, La Cosecha, Little Miss Whiskey's Golden Dollar (Walking 2 minutes, Lesbian bartenders, and lots of dancing upstairs.) Copy Cat (next to Little Miss Whiskey's) Tons more on H street. I do Red Bear and Copy Cat. Red Bear Brewing Co (209 M St NE, Washington, DC 20002) also has events like Drag Queen Bingo, live DJs, concerts, plus great kraft beer. 4.) Groceries. You have Whole Foods on H Street and 6th NE. You also have Trader Joe's on Florida and 4th Street NE. 5.) Bookstores. I love Solid State Books on H. Politics and Prose is also great. 6.) Entertainment. Check out what might be happening at The Atlas Performing Arts Center. It's on H street near Maketto. That's between 13th and 14th Street NE. Montello Ave NE corresponds to 12th NE.
