Our home, available as a 5 month ski lease, is a lovely, updated log cabin located in Truckee, CA, minutes away from world-class skiing and winter activities. This 3,500 sq. foot cabin has five bedrooms, three full baths, two half baths and sleeps ten people comfortably. It is located in the Ponderosa Ranchos neighborhood which is a beautiful and quiet residential area where the houses are all situated on 1-acre lots. Therefore, we're looking for quiet low-key families and guests. 5 month lease December - April. Ski resorts close to our home are Northstar (10 min.) Palisades Tahoe (20-25 min.) and Sugar Bowl (25 min.). There is excellent cross-country skiing and snow shoeing can be done right from the house. Downtown Truckee is an easy 5 minutes with great restaurants, bars and shopping. This house is great for families. It has beautiful high ceilings and cozy gathering areas for warming near the wood stove or hanging out in the loft watching the big screen TV. Half bath on loft level. The gourmet kitchen is a foodies haven including Thermador appliances, center island and convenient bar. The adjacent dining area has a huge table that can seat up to 14 people. First floor half bath. Upstairs bedrooms include a master suite with a queen bed and en suite bath and steam shower, plus two additional bedrooms with queen beds and a Jack and Jill bathroom. The two downstairs bedrooms share a full bath, one room has a twin bunk bed and workspace and the last bedroom has a queen bed and big screen TV. The hot tub can hold up to eight people and is located on the lower deck off the dining room which overlooks the Sierra Mountain range. A large two car garage has all the room you'll need for your skis, boards and winter toys. No smoking. Gas and electric paid by tenant. 5 month ski lease starting Dec 1, 2024. Snow plow service required paid by tenant. Small dog welcome.
