Unit is on ground floor with separate entrances on side of home and at rear, and shares no walls with the main home. (A side entryway divides the entrances to the unit and the main home.) On site laundry is available in basement. The unit has a huge 23' x 15.5' main room with 2 bay windows and lots of bookshelves and storage, a second room approximately 12' x 12', also with a bay window and very large closet, newly remodeled bathroom and kitchenette with quality fixtures, high speed Sonic wifi, and opens onto a back yard full of plants, flowers, bar-b-que, fountain and dining area. The kitchen is limited due to zoning restrictions, but offers quartz counter tops, stainless steel sink with garbage disposal, refrigerator, a two burner induction cooktop with compatible cookware, microwave, and toaster oven provided. The kitchen does not have a range with oven, but to supplement cooktop there is a gas bar-b-que immediately outside back door of unit which has a large cooking area with extra side burner, for which propane is supplied. Owner will consider allowing a mellow, well-trained, dog (20 lbs. or less and not an excessive barker) if tenant's situation is such that the dog won't be left locked in unit or yard for extended periods of time. Seeking a quiet, responsible person or couple. Owner has busy life with no expectation of socializing with tenant(s), but would nonetheless appreciate a friendly person or couple to cross paths with from time to time. Entertaining in unit is fine as is having guests to dine in rear garden, but a serious party animal would not be a good fit. Neighbors on all sides are friendly and considerate. Interested tenant(s) must have stable employment, references and good credit. There is a one year lease which is month-to-month thereafter. No subletting is permitted.
