Beautifully restored 1930'a Serena and Lilly beach cottage. If you enjoy boat rides BBQ's and sand on your feet all day, then you've just stepped into the coziest of beach cottages on Balboa Island. Our home sleeps up to 8 guests. The house is two houses down from the Newport Beach Bay, where you can see sail boats passing by from the front patio as you sip your favorite beverage. Head down to Marine Ave, and hit the shops and restaurants by way of foot or take our new golf cart! Our remodeled beach cottage has 4 bedrooms and two and one half baths. The downstairs has three bedrooms. Bed one, is a Queen bed with bathroom and two closets along with a vanity make up mirror. Bedroom two has a queen bed bathroom and shower with toilet. Bedroom three has 4 bunk beds and a small sink. The room is great for children as it feels as is you are in a sailboat with it's own porthole windows! The last bedroom four, is the Primary private suite. It's outside the back kitchen door above the garage. It has it's own king size bed, bathtub/shower, vanity make-up mirror and walk in closet. The property also has two patio's. A back private patio with BBQ and the property has a front patio. Both have fire pits and comfortable seating areas. Views of passing boaters can be seen from the front patio. There is also an outdoor shower, SUPs, Beach Cruisers and Golf Cart (rental). Access to the home is by combination lock doors which will be provided to you prior to your arrival. Access to the beach is two houses down from the sand. Guests may contact me directly by phone or text and What's App. If guests would like for me to meet with them at the home during arrival, I can do that. If they do not want to meet, there is a guidebook available with instructions to all the electronics, fireplaces, BBQ and highlights of the Newport Beach area. Balboa Island is an amazing man made island with many fun activities to do and tons of shops and eateries on marine Ave. Across a short 4 min ferry ride and you can be at the "Fun-Zone", where there is more shopping Ferris Wheel rides and more. Everything is in walking distance, or you may rent our brand new 2023 evolution golf cart that seats 5 people. It's a great way to get around and there are special parking spaces designated for " Golf Carts Only" ! After a fabulous day on the beach, take a hot shower in our outdoor patio shower and get ready for the nightlife. Our home provides a kayak, golf cart, SUPs, beach cruisers, beach chairs and towels. A tradition on the island is having a balboa bar or frozen banana on Marine Ave after dinner. It's a must! The island has it's own fire department, post office, and church. Our guests also have access to boat rentals to take you around the harbor and out to see many of the seal lions, dolphins and whales. This is a great way to see the sights and the multimillion dollar homes and yachts that outline the harbor. The property has a garage for parking for one compact car. Pet's are allowed up to two. We do have beach chairs, towels, SUPs, and Umbrellas for your use. We ask that you please wash them off with fresh water or, prior to bringing them back to the home rinse the sand off on the beach in the bay. House does have an outdoor shower on the side yard, with hot water. There are 5 beach cruisers that also may be used at no charge, please lock them up to prevent theft. please remove any pet feces prior to your departure if any. Kayaks, Bikes, and Stand Up Paddle Boards are also included. No subleases allowed. Pets allowed.
