Do you want a piece of Montana? The this one room log cabin is for you. It was built by a Swedish immigrant who used all hand tools (e.g., broad axe, bow saw, draw knives and hand drills) to construct the cabin. The log used are first growth timber from Elk Park, Montana (just north of Butte, Montana). The logs were squared on two sides with a broad axe, the cannons are dovetailed (see attached photos) and are in perfect condition. The logs are doweled with round dowels made with a draw knife about every four feet. The cabin is so well built even after 100 plus years it is structurally solid. There is no land for sale (only the cabin itself). The purchaser will be responsible for arranging and paying for the movement of the building from its current location.
