The larger room is 950/month and the smaller room is 850/month, renting both would be ideal for someone who would like to have an office space for work from home. Both rooms have a private full bath, and the larger room has its own entrance from the rear of the house. There is a washer and dryer in-unit. The location is about a 13 min walk from the West Oakland BART stop, there is easy access to the music venue Continental Club as well as Target and Home Depot via Mandela Parkway. The owner of the house has landscaping experience so the yard space is beautifully curated and serves as a nexus point for a local food access non-profit for anyone interested in serving their community by providing free healthy meals. The yard has multiple fruit trees- there is lemon, meyer lemon, pomegranate, buddha hand, cherry, oro blanco, and avocado. There are two dogs on site that live in the upstairs unit- Rosie, the free spirited pittie mix and Oscar, the authoritative chihuahua-terrier mix. There is also a chicken coop with 3 chickens in the yard, can't make any promises on eggs though.
