Earliest record of sale dated 1904 refers to a previous sale, but county archives don't go any further back; probably built late 1890's. House was reputed to have been a schoolhouse at some point, but we've not found any documentation of this. Matched existing slate stoop at back door with slate patio & slate step stones to storage shed, & added broad gravel turn-around, lined with large stones that were original to the property.
