Fully Furnished Carriage House is located in the quiet and beautiful neighborhood of Rolling Bay, situated on a high bluff overlooking Puget Sound, Cascade Mountains and the Seattle skyline. Just a short walk to the cute Rolling Bay area for local produce, shopping, cafe and more... This furnished vacation rental is a perfect place for those in a job 0transition, home remodel to relocation/buying a new house. Everything is in this guest house, all you need to do is bring your bag/clothes and you are right at home. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans, utensils and seasonings as well as other items to make you feel right at home. Linens can be provided and there will be some things left if you desire; blankets, towels and extra pillows. This is a cozy, spacious and fully furnished cottage with a master bedroom and one additional queen size bed up in a loft area which can also be used as an office area. (Queen size beds provided in both sleeping areas.) The master bedroom closes off with french doors and curtains as well as opening up to the outdoor deck through opposite french doors. Enjoy panoramic views from the bedroom, living room and on your own private balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view or do some grilling with the provided electric barbecue. The Carriage House is in its own 2nd level dwelling. Below is a garage which cars do not park and houses the available washer/dryer, trash and recycling. The Carriage House is tastefully decorated in a very comfortable Northwest style. If you choose, linens will be provided for the newly updated bathroom which includes a luxurious vanity and shower. All wooden blinds treat the windows throughout. There is electric heat but there is a wood stove as well for those chilly evenings to make it reslly cozy. Skylights above allow plenty of warm bright light which is a real plus in the Winter months. There is free WiFi access. Enjoy DishTV on the flat screen television in the living room at no additional expense. There is a Blu Ray and CD player, as well as a radio for your entertainment needs. The Carriage House is located within walking distance to buses, wine tasting, beach walks and Historic Rolling Bay with its Bay Hay & Feed Store, garden nursery, post office and cafe. Nearby is a Jiffy Mart and a great deli, "Villa Rosa 11" for some incredible Italian take-out or dine in their bistro setting. The Carriage House has its own driveway, enough to fit 2 cars and your own garden entrance by way of an outside staircase. The views are panoramic on the large deck to ennoy views from Seattle, Cascade mounta and ns to Mt. Baker and Puget Sound. Since this is a working inn we allow guests to use the main deck to enjoy the full views of the property; take in the panoramic views of Puget Sound, Mt. Baker, the Cascade Mountain range and the Seattle skyline. Bald eagles and whale watching is fun to do as well as watching the fascinating marine traffic across the sound with provided binoculars to occupy your free time. Kitsap transit has a bus route just right at the beginning of the street. This makes commuting to Seattle easy without having to take your car so there is easy access to the ferry for those that have to commute to work. It would be easy enough also to ride a bike from here to the ferry. Since it is off season this lovely unit is being rented during the Winter months until late Spring at a significantly reduced rate to make it more economical for the tenant. Owner offering a month-to-month lease through the end of April 2021 and may continue into May if needed. Rent will be $2,800/Mo with a $2500 security deposit. First month's rent and security deposit will be due at time of signing lease. Security Deposit will hold the property until a signed lease is done and the first month's rent. The Carriage House is a vacation rental property and will need to be available to guests wanting to stay at Skiff Point Guest House & Retreat during Spring through Summer of 2021; therefore tenant would need to vacate no later than the end of April 2023. If a tenant needs to stay additional days owner can accommodate to Mid May 2023 approval will need to be requested 45 days prior to the end of the lease and the tenant will be charged the monthly rent/30 days. The rental night rate will be discounted based on the number of extended days. The owner will pay for garbage, water, free WiFi, and DishTV. Electricity is at the renter's expense and will be required to be put in the renter's name. There is wood that is available for the wood stove; however, what is used needs to be replaced or reimbursed which can be discussed with the owner
